Classic Tomato Soup Recipe (Paleo, Whole30, Keto)
I’m a big believer that eating some warm, nourishing soups in the thick of winter is an essential part of wellness. The broth and slow cooking is a boon for our sluggish digestion. And slurping the warm elixir comforts us, right down to our cold bones.

Tomato soup screams snow day comfort. But to be completely honest, I was never that into Campbell’s tomato soup. The texture made me think I was drinking hot tomato juice. Which just didn’t do it for me.

I love this recipe because it has a nice texture without sacrificing taste and nostalgia.
Paleo Zuppa Toscana
In the years before I turned Paleo, the Olive Garden was one of my favorite restaurants.Since adopting a low carb, Paleo lifestyle, I had to break up with the Olive Garden. Because while I believe that
Feeding My Highly Sensitive Preschooler
I can’t remember when it dawned on me that my son is a HSP, but that understanding was a gift. This knowledge opened a line of communication between us and acceptance from me. When it comes to feeding, his HSP character trait is a big factor in our success. To an average observer, he would probably appear picky. But he’s not. He loves lamb Epic bars and eats peppers like candy. He loves a wide variety of textures and flavor but has a very low tolerance for new foods. The difference between picky and sensitive is nuanced, but matters when developing a strategy for successful feedings.
I love sheet pan meals.

One pan and it cuts back on dishes, on time, and maximizes flavor. Win/Win/Win!

This recipe is awesome because it checks the box for so many nutritional preferences. Without any modification, it’s Keto, Paleo, and Whole30.
Miscarriage Changes You
On the anniversary of the death of the spouse, parent, or earthside child, we talk about it. We visit a gravesite. We receive renewed condolences.

But with miscarriage, there is usually no grave to visit. No one remembers the day of loss or the estimated due date of birth. We’re left to ourselves to grieve in silence. No one wants a mopey woman on their newsfeed.

I don’t think any woman owes anyone else her story. But we HAVE to find a way to talk about it.
But a good burger can be elusive. I've given up ordering burgers at restaurants because they are usually either flavorless, masked by too many toppings, or are overcooked. Or all three.

So I did what I do, which is to head into the kitchen and find a way to make the best burger ever. And develop an easy recipe that everybody can enjoy!
